Reports Overview

Generate structured, exportable tabular summaries across tasks, issues, incidents, inspections, and training assignments.

Reports Module Overview

The Reports module serves as the central document generator and data extraction hub in Algus. While interactive dashboards provide real-time visual charts on your screen, the Reports module allows administrators, site managers, and safety officers to compile, filter, and export detailed operational data into spreadsheets and documents for compliance, management reviews, and record-keeping.

The system provides six specialized reporting suites tailored to key operational areas:

  • Task Reports: Summarize operational task completion, due dates, task types, priorities, assignees, and site assignments.
  • Issue Reports: Track defect categories, maintenance statuses, priority levels, sitewise equipment, and assigned resolution teams.
  • Incident Reports: Audit health, safety, and environmental (HSE) incidents by incident type, severity rating, risk matrix level, site location, and status.
  • Inspection Reports: Perform template-first checklist data extractions with dynamic question column selection and advanced grouping by site, auditor, resource, task, or issue.
  • Training Course Assignment Reports: Track employee course enrollments, active progress, and completion records across departments, user groups, and facility locations.
  • Training Quiz Assignment Reports: Audit quiz attempt scores, result outcomes (passed, failed, in progress), and question bank performance metrics.

⚡ How the Reports Suite Works

All reporting suites share a standardized, user-friendly workflow designed for fast data extraction and filtering:

  1. Select a Reporting Suite: Navigate to the main menu and open the Reports dashboard. Click on any of the six report cards to launch that specific reporting tool.
  2. Apply Search & Global Filters: Use the search field to quickly match keywords across titles, reference numbers, or assignees. Open the side filter drawer to narrow data by specific parameters such as date ranges, sites, resources, or status types.
  3. Customize Data Views: Organize table columns, apply multi-column sorting, or group data by operational dimensions (such as site, user, or linked resource).
  4. Export Spreadsheet Files: Click the Export button to download filtered report data directly to your computer as formatted Excel or CSV spreadsheet files.

💻 Web Portal Navigation

  • Navigation Path: Navigate to Reports in the main sidebar menu.
  • Central Hub Options: Click on Task Reports, Issue Reports, Incident Reports, Inspection Reports, Training Course Assignments, or Training Quiz Assignments.
  • Global Actions: Use the global search bar, open the slide-out Filter drawer, or select the Export dropdown button to choose your preferred file format.

💡 Practical Example: Quarterly Operational Executive Review

A Regional Quality Manager needs to compile a comprehensive summary of all operational activities performed across three manufacturing facilities during the past quarter:

  1. The manager opens the Reports hub from the main menu.
  2. They access Inspection Reports to filter compliance scores by facility location and group results by site.
  3. Next, they navigate to Incident Reports to extract high-severity safety incidents occurring over the 90-day window.
  4. Finally, they access Training Reports to verify that all site supervisors completed their mandatory safety refresher courses.
  5. Each report is exported to Excel for executive presentation and archivism.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

🛠️ Troubleshooting

  • No Data Displayed in Report Table: Ensure your active filter drawer options are not overly restrictive. Click the reset or filter button to check if date range boundaries or site selections are excluding records.
  • Export File Does Not Download: Verify that your web browser is not blocking pop-up windows or automatic file downloads from the portal.
