Email Verification

How to verify your email address after signing up for Algus.

Why Email Verification is Required

Email verification confirms your identity, secures your account, and ensures you receive critical notifications (inspection alerts, task assignments, and password reset links).

How Email Verification Works

  1. Open the verification email sent from Algus in your inbox.
  2. Click Verify Email Address.
  3. The link will open in your web browser (redirecting to app.algus.io) to confirm your verification.
  4. Once verified in the browser, your account is activated and ready to use across both web and mobile apps.

Troubleshooting

  • Check Spam Folder: Ensure messages from noreply@algus.io are allowed.
  • Link Expired?: Log in to request a new verification email.
  • Wrong email address?: If you registered with the wrong email, you'll need to create a new account with the correct email address.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

A: Verification links remain valid for 24 hours. If your link expires, click Resend Verification Email on the login screen to generate a fresh link.

Q2: Is email verification required for Google or Apple sign-ups?

A: No. Accounts created via Google or Apple authentication are verified automatically through your identity provider.

Q3: Can I access my workspace before verifying my email?

A: No. Workspace access is blocked until you complete email verification by clicking the confirmation link sent to your inbox.

Q4: What if our corporate email security blocks the verification email?

A: Ask your IT network administrator to whitelist noreply@algus.io and the domain algus.io in your corporate spam filter.

Q5: Can I request multiple verification emails?

A: Yes. However, requesting a new verification link invalidates previous links, so always click the link in the most recent email.
